Arundeep Pradhan

Arundeep is the Associate Vice President of Technology Transfer and Business Development at Oregon Health & Science University. The office is directly responsible for establishing and managing industry collaborations and technology licensing, where he has overseen a three-fold growth in industry collaborations and licensing efforts. The office has adopted a Technology Transfer 3.0 model that integrates business and corporate development, traditional technology transfer functions, industry sponsored research and alliances, technology ventures and startup development. Arundeep has been instrumental in developing and implementing numerous programs for seed and research funding and at universities. He is active in state and local initiatives for economic development to establish key elements of infrastructure to support universities and bioscience cluster development. Arundeep is also active with other national academic and industry organizations with respect to national policy on technology transfer, patents and economic development.

Arundeep is also the President of the AUTM Foundation. The vision of the AUTM Foundation is to increase the impact of academic technology transfer in the local, regional and international innovation ecosystems by providing resources to enable building and sustaining efficient programs that facilitate and enhance technology utilization and commercialization.

Arundeep served on the Board of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) from 2006 to 2007 as the Vice President for Annual Meeting, President Elect, President and Immediate Past President. As President of AUTM, he led the organization through it’s strategic planning process to identify priorities and streamline internal functions; worked with representatives and agencies in Washington D.C to address US patent reform, provide insight regarding the Bayh-Dole act, and programs to encourage commercialization of university research.
