Patricia is a Fellow in Dow Corporate Venturing in Core R&D. In this role, Patricia is responsible for researching and evaluating technologies and opportunities that complement Dow's robust Research & Development pipeline and contribute to the Company’s long-term success, with focus on both internal and external opportunity generation. Patricia joined Dow in 1991 in Terneuzen, The Netherlands as a Product Development Scientist in Dow’s Styrenics Business. Since then she has held various positions in Product and Application Development in six different business platforms as well as in New Business Development. She has led technology development for three product launches from invention to commercialization. Patricia graduated from The Technical University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands with a Master’s degree in Polymer Chemistry and Engineering in 1991. She is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and has published 29 articles and filed 20 patents.
