Keith joined TI in 1973 initially working in a small, highly specialized research group tackling the challenges of interactive cable TV and digital TV design. He is primarily a circuits and systems engineer with a lot of experience in motor drive, toys/games, ISM-band wireless transceivers, avionics, GPS, portable power, and classic analog TV. He spent 10 years in TI's Application Specific Circuit (ASIC) group developing applications and technical specifications for new product developments including gate arrays, and standard cells.

In 1997, he joined the Worldwide Strategic Marketing Group where most of his activities focused on assessing, creating, and implementing new business units within the company in high growth markets.

Since 2003, he has served as a proposal reviewer for the National Science Foundation’s Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR)

In his spare time he enjoys piloting several types of general aviation aircraft and teaching courses in advanced avionics operation, and cockpit weather datalinks.
