Rodney Bowen-Wright is a Director of Business Development at Microsoft and manages Enterprise, Vertical Markets
and Mobility portfolios globally in the Strategic and Emerging Business Group.
The Microsoft Emerging Business Group is a corporate function chartered to source, recruit and incubate next generation businesses and business models across market domains globally. This includes diverse areas like Digital Media, Mobility and Business Applications.
Rodney is currently one of seven panelists in the Microsoft BizSpark One program which selects new and innovative companies and chartered to find Microsoft's next big technology bets. The team currently manages a diverse portfolio of companies across domains including Enterprise, Gaming, Online and Cloud based businesses.
He is also has responsible for Microsoft Dynamics which is a platform for building line of business applications across vertical industries. Rodney holds a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and prior to Microsoft held various leadership roles and architected several successful commercial products for Time Warner and Cadence Design Systems (his previous employers).
